More Information

The Goeteic Cult of Hekate Trioditis Apotropaia and Hermes Dotor Eaon does not require clergy be consecrated to Hekate or Hermes, but do require a specialized module of the education program be about the basics of their priesthood, functions in cult, history, and epithets. Education through Mt. Nysa Mystery School’s Hiereis Studies program is necessary for recognition by the cult as a Hiereus/Hiereia. ($150/module with flexible tuition).

If you desire to become a priest of another deity but still serve the mission of the cult, you endeavor to be an expert (Exegetes (“an advisor, an expounder, and interpreter, especially of oracles, dreams, or omens. And in Athens, the exegetes was an expert of sacred rites or customs such as modes of burials, expiation, and so on” (Hellenion))) for the cult on that deity, allowing yourself to be questioned about that deity, lead rituals as a Hiereus/Hiereia, and represent that deity in organization rituals.

If you desire to become a priest of Hekate Trioditis Apotropaia and/or Hermes Dotor Eaon, you endeavor to follow the same education as the cult and perpetuate it, lead rituals on (when permitted) the cult’s behalf, educate about the cult and its mission and praxis, and more.

This cult only recognizes clergy from itself, GCHH, Mt. Nysa Mystery School’s Hiereis Studies Program, Mt. Nysa Mystery School’s Eleusinion, and the Mt. Nysa Mystery School’s Thesmophoria Melissae Training Program: other congregations, cults, organizations, and priesthoods are not currently recognized as clergy (outside of legal recognition), and will not be grandfathered into this cult.
