Goêteia is the Greco-Egyptian syncretic practices of Mystery Initiations, Necromancy and other forms of Divination, Psychogogos practices, Underworld Sorcery, Purifications, and general magical practices. Goêteia most often involves chthonic (Underworld) gods, including Hekate and Hermes (et al.).
